The Cat Doctor at Beach Cities Cat Clinic would like to personally welcome you to our practice, and acquaint you with our staff and some of our services.
Since 2004 we have provided the South Bay with “Expert Loving Care…Just for Cats”.
Our facility is known for its calming environment and detailed attention to
cleanliness all done with a touch of class.
Our vision includes extraordinary medicine and surgery to our patients as well as providing a long-term platform for educating our clients in preventative health care. Our passion revolves around uncompromising, state-of-the-art medical care with a special interest in pain management and a commitment to honoring feline comfort and longevity.
The doctors at The Cat Doctor have a diversified range of specialties. Dr. Darcie is our Hospital Director with a background in emergency and critical care. Dr. McGarr is an excellent surgeon and loves working up internal medicine cases. Dr. Holland has a special interest in preventative medicine and endocrinology. We also offer behavior consultations for the less than purr-fect feline.
We are a full service hospital, offering in house laboratory, radiology, ultrasound and endoscopy. Dental care including routine prevention, treatment and surgical correction of periodontal disease is available. A wide range of surgical procedures including spays, neuters, laser declaws, orthopedics and soft tissue surgeries are offered. We carry a carefully chosen selection of flea control products, therapeutic diets and high-end retail items. Check out or grooming services; bikini clips, lion cuts and paw-dicures with colorful soft paws that are the cats Meow. “Bed and Breakfast” and medical stays can be arranged while you’re out of town.
Doors are open Monday through Saturday at 8:00 a.m. For your convenience we can also schedule drop-off appointments to fit your busy life. Our goal is to provide not only the most compassionate loving veterinary care for our patients, but also to educate and advise you on nutrition, behavior and preventative medicine.
